Club and Spade Dainty White stack bracelets | Php380

Here's what I wore last week, I decided to wear my old tiangge jersey dress as it flatters my plump figure quite nicely and I thought that it's a great match for my Dainty White stack bangles (Php380) from Club and Spade.

I like the way that Club and Spade segregates their accessories seemingly as if it's divided into personalities.
They've got  the Classics for those who like s to stick to basics; Dainty for girls like me who wants something sweet and girly; the Naturalist for the boho chic; and Into the Wild for those who likes animal-prints and have a more adventurous ideas.

As for me, I like anything that is gold and white in my accessories. The Dainty white stacked bracelets is suits my personailty well and matches a lot of my outfit.

Dainty meets Cleo! :)

I finally got to hang out with Manila's most fashionable bloggers again at an event and I had loads of fun. Same as I am with beauty, these girls and I share the same passion and that is just plain expressing ourselves whether wearing a neon top or a neon lipstick. :)

I joined in in their outfit shot and this is what I came up with. :)

Aisa Ipac is probably the nicest fashion blogger I know. I remember her making me feel welcome amidst people in glitzy clothes and cold stares. She's down to earth, totally in control of herself and yet eclectically fun. She's real, girls. Hit her up at www.aisaipac.com.

Sarah's fashion choices makes me wish they were my own. A fashion designer/doting mother, she's definitely a veritable fashionista. She makes me feel brave about trying out bolder colors, unusual style pieces... It still needs some practice though. Have fun at her site at www.fashioneggplant.com.

Ana makes becoming a fashionista look so easy. Her style is approachable and seem easy to recreate, good news for us who can't afford it. She's such an inspiration and quite handy in her accessory venture. More about Ana at www.fashionstacommuter.com.

Krissy is just a ray full of sunshine whenever I see her. This girl is full of goodness in her heart and a lot of fashion sense in her head. Little girls should try to be more like her. So go ahead and visit her blog at www.krissyfied.com.

And this is me. I'm not trying to be a fashion blogger or anything but I sure am having fun doing this. :)

Snoe Beauty Body Ritual Recipe Srumptious Body Spritz
in Honey Dew Melon Yogurt

Meet the first recipeint of the Shen's Addiction Beauty Award! :)

Why? Because this product has got me under its spell. First whiff of this body spritz and I was hooked!

If you're looking for the perfect scent this summer, then I suggest heading to the nearest Snoe Beauty and grab one or maybe more of Snoe Beauty Body Ritual Recipe Srumptious Body Spritz in Honey Dew Melon Yogurt.

It's my ultimate favorite cologne this Summer. It's ammaaaahhhhzing! I'm totally in love with it that I always bring it with me wherever I go. I seriously can't live without it. I actually have 2 back-ups at home and keep one with me all the time.

The scent is so fresh and clean, it has a way of waking me up in the morning. It reminds me of summer, melon shakes and just being a kid again. And you can apply it at the middle of the day and you will feel so refreshed. At least for me it does. I just love it!

And how do I keep the scent a lot more lasting? I do the layering of scents. And that is using the same scents from bathing, moisturizing and of course spraying the cologne all over!

Friends over at Estee Lauder sent over their CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme for me to try.

As you all know, I'm not really a big fan of BB Creams. It's really the least "foundation" that I like since it doesn't really control oiliness. Although it's marketed for all skin type as it is more a healing balm than it is cosmetic, I find myself using this product for when I have pimples, undergone laser and peeling treatments and when i am just having a bad skin overall. I really can't deny how good it is for the skin.

Given the rise to fame of BB Cream in the cosmetic world, it's not surprising that high end brands like Estee Lauder finally joins the bandwagon. But thankfully incorporating it into their CyberWhite line to give the skin a luminous dewy look while at the same time help brighten the skin.

BB Cream to me should always have that "healing" and "safe" effect. I'd put up to not having my oiliness controlled if its going to be beneficial to the skin. I don't want a BB Cream masking as a glorified tinted moisturizer.

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme with Multi-action Formula and SPF 35/PA+++ is a lightening BB creme that doesn't aggravate my acne, helps even out my skin tone and provide ample sun protection for my skin.

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme with Multi-action Formula and SPF 35/PA+++ has a lightweight texture. The coverage is very minimal and doesn't cover flared up acnes, red cystic ones and dark pigmentation. But it covers redness around my mouth, sides of my nose and chin. Compared to other BB creams I've tried, this is has sheer coverage.

It has dewy radiant effect and would give dry skin a white glowy look. But with oily skin, one must set this with powder to achieve a matte effect.

What I love is that the shade of Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme with Multi-action Formula and SPF 35/PA+++ is that the shade is light and rather than the usual gray-ish tint we are use to on Japanese and Korean BB Cream, it has a beige-peach-near-to-our-skin-tone shade. Just see below! It's a better match for many skin tones.

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme Multi-action Formula and SPF 35 PA+++

I've been having bad skin days lately (thanks to late nights, stress and allergies from kissing my fuzzy pups), I acquired really huge cystic acne all over my face and red itchy patches. And though normally rely on my favored liquid foundations, BB creams seems to be the smart choice. It's a better barrier for my powder foundation from The Body Shop.

If only it controls my oiliness, this product would get A++ from me. But considering how I really don't go for BB cream, I'm giving Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme with Multi-action Formula and SPF 35/PA+++ a good A! A+ if its only affordable but it isn't. It's Estee Lauder after all.

My face with Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme Multi-action Formula with SPF35 PA++

I can't tell you how red my face have become over the past few days. I became extremely allergic to my pups' fur (probably because I'm allergic to dust and they roll around under the bed). Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme have effectively controlled my face's redness... and certainly at this point, I need something that can help lighten my skin given that I'm sure I will acquire pimple marks after my acne have healed.

It's definitely a great product despite the fact that it comes with a hefty price tag. After all, it is from Estee Lauder. I just know that many of you out there will be excited to know that Estee Lauder finally came out with a BB cream.

Here's the look I created with Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme:

Makeup all done with just powder foundation and a bit of concealer to cover pimples.

Products used:

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme
The Body Shop All-in-One Base Face Powder
Tony Moly Partylover Shine Blusher in 03
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Matte Bronzer in 04
The Body Shop Tea Tree Concealer in 02

K Palette 24h Real Lasting Eyebrow Liner
Kate Eye Shadow Palette in BR 2
Bobbi Brown Ink Liner
MAC Khol in Fascinating
3S Lashes in Glamour

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick in Guava

So, what do you think? It looks nice, noh? Have you tried a BB Cream from a Western-based comsetic company?

May 5 it fast approaching and I'm like a kid who can't sleep from excitement! I'm finally going to see the place where my dearest Beauty Blogger BFF, Jheng, grew up. She'll be celebrating her birthday and she invited us for an oversrnight stay of good food, music and of course to see her march as her town's Reyna Elena. Amahhhhhzing!!

Other than that, I'm just so over the metro and eager for some laidback happenings. I want to de-stress myself from work and recoup my brain. I just want to be "sabaw" for two whole straight days laughing and having fun with the coolest and funniest girl I know!

But!!

There's a but,.. a big-ass one if you me...

I do hate packing. I always under and over estimate packing! There's always something I forget and there's always something that I bring which I barely use. It always happens. I jsut really never learned how to pack properly. Darn it!

Thankfully though, Mich of Cozy Nail Lounge in Libis sent me over this cute transparent pouch with lots of containers inside it.

  • Soap Dish
  • Steel Atomizer
  • Plastic Atomizer
  • Tube Pump
  • Powder Jar
  • Cream Jar
  • Gel Jar
  • Funnels and spatula

I certainly can't live without my vanity essentials. That's why this bag of containers will certainly help me minimize boo-boo's when packing.

What I plan to use this for?

  • Soap Dish - Half of Dove Beauty bar and Snoe White Antibacterial Brightening Citronella beauty bar
  • Steel Atomizer - Clinique Anti-Blemish Toner
  • Plastic Atomizer - alcohol
  • Tube Pump - Obagi-C Sunblock
  • Powder Puff Jar - My ever reliable baby powder
  • Cream Jar - Belo Prescriptive DLC Cream
  • Gel Jar - a little but of Perricone MD Acyl Gluthathione Cream

Phew! That definitely got a lot things off of my back!

For more travel rganizers and containers, visit KIT - Keeping It Together's at TheatreMall Greenhills (Across Mixed Gems, before Foodcourt)

I rarely listen to music now since my work consists of a lot of research. I research topics about moms, hipsters, what young kids are now into, fashion and of course, beauty. It's a neverending cycle looking trending topics. This usually involves me listening to hours of videos online....

These information now have become music to my ears. I've learned how a bed can float, how to create a tufted bed frame and have watched quite possibly all the available 2012 movie trailer ever made. It's fun learning about things and researching isn't that much of a bore at all.

Of course, at work, I can't have my speakers booming of these talks (besides, I don’t have one). It’s practically a requirement at work to have earphone and I gots to have my with me at all times.

Zoning out is so easy with Urbanears Bagis I got from Digital Hub. The 3.5mm jack fits in all of my gadgets. From my iPhone, iPod to my laptops and of course, work desktop computer.

Urbanears Bagis also have a tangle-free cord that makes it easy for me to unravel it when I’m commuting or in a hurry to listening to something work-related.

Did I mention that all Urbanears have a mic??? Like seriously! Now I don’t have to switch earphones when I’m using my iPhone as an iPod since switching is that easy!

How cool that the earphones snap together and can be made into a necklace for safer keeping.

How cool that the earphones snap together and can be made into a necklace for safer keeping.

Best of all, it comes in cool not-your-typical earphone shades, cream and sage.

This color particularly isn’t available online and you can only get this now at Digital Hub and the store I mentioned below!

Of course, sound quality is amazing. It easily reduces noise and makes it easier for me to zone out and do my researching easily!

Audio Specification (for those who needs this info.)

• 9 mm handmade drivers
• Frequency Response 20Hz-20kHz
• Impedance 16Ω
• Sensitivity 107dB
• Max Input Power 5mW

As for me, as long as I don't hear anything except the videos I'm watching or musci I'm listening to, I'm good!

Urbanears Bagis retails at Php1200. Quie affordab;e for the style, built microphone and remote with snap and tangle-free cord. What do you think?

You can get them at the following stores: Power Mac, Power Hub, iStudio, Astrovision, Technoholics, Bratpack, Mobile 1, Xsite, 8 Telecom, Abenson, Electroworld, Digital Hub, Digital Walker and Beyond The Box.

Why just color when you can shine?

Definitely a catchy phrase for the new Avon Shine Attract Lipstick, endorsed by Avon ambassadress Reese Witherspoon and the ever so popular Philippine Actress and host, Anne Curtis. Of course, for some of you out there who care less for celebrities and slogans, here's my two cent about the products:

Think of Shine Attract Lipstick as an innovation of a lipstick. Think weightless gel wrapped around a creamy pigment that gives your lips a subtle color and a whole lot of shine. If you're more after for softness and glossy shine, then this is the right choice for you.

There ae 10 shades carefully handpicked to suit our skin tone and to match out moods: Rose Pink, Guava, Happy Pink, Cherry Pie, Fuchsia Flare, Mysterious Mauve, Caressing Coral, Fever, Orchid, Passionate Red.

It's not sticky which is always a plus for us living in a humid country and it moisturizes like your favorite balm. The shades are just amazing! I haven't found a shade I didn't like. All these babies are suits my taste in colors. Can't wait to try Fuchia Flare and Rose Pink.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick
Fever | Passionate Red | Caressing Coral | Cherry Pie | Orchid | Happy Pink | Mysterious Mauve | Guava

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick
Here are my latest lipstick collection:

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Fever

Fever is a deep mauve lipstick that's great for Fall, don't let this one go. It's a great "kontrabida" lipstick for those days you just want to assert yourself.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Passionate Red
Passionate Red is a cherry red lipstick, both faves of Reese Witherspoon and the red-lipped lady herself, Anne Curtis. It's pigmented and gives a nice sheen to your lips. Whether casual or formal, this lipstick is going to make you stand out.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Caressing Coral
Caressing Coral is a red orange shade with subtle red and gold glitters. It's my least favorite among the rest since I lean towards more on pink hues and mattes.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Cherry pie

Cherry Pie is a hot pink shade that is spells F-U-N! It's definitely a statement lipstick with the bright bold pink hue.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Orchid
Orchid is another purple mauve lipstick that suited for Fall but this one works well for any season. I'm currently in love with purple base lipstick lately and been searching for something that

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Mysterious Mauve
Mysterious Mauve looks to be a good My-lips-but-better (MLBB) shade. It's just the right amount of pink and purple with a tinge of peach. It's definitely something I think most of us will love as its a good everyday lip color.

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Happy Pink
Happy Pink is that exactly, a nice wash of pink purple lip color that's great for everyday wear. Anne Curtis dubs this as her second favorite from the Shine Attract lipstick collection. A casual pink shade that compliments many skin tones. It is just love!

Avon Shine Attract Lipstick | Guava
Guava makes me think of Summer. This soft peach coral shade compliments a Asian skin and will give that shine that we want for this sunny weather.

Swatches:

Fever | Passionate Red | Cheery Pie | Orchid

Happy Pink | Caressing Coral | Mysterious Mauve | Guava

There are a lot of products out there that are a mash up of a lipsticks and a gloss, but Shine Attract Lipstick really do promise that shine and color that you want.

The gel is weightless and yet effectively gives that shine that will make a gloss blush. You'd be surprise at how pigmented the creamy color at the core is. Although you may have to work the shade out a little bit more than a regular lisptick, Shine Attract Lipstick does its job. It's color and shine.

Summary:

  • Pigmented enough (especially Passionate Red, Orchid and Fever)
  • Great for everyday uyse
  • It has Vitamin A and E to moisturize lips.
  • It has SPF 15
  • Non-sticky
  • Weightless feel of the
  • Makes the skin incredibly shiny (not oily shine)
  • All shades suits Pinay skintone
  • Smells great (like gummy bears)
  • Available in the Philippines
