On my second night of use, I found it really hard to sleep early with all the events I have to post and press realeases I have to write. Stress has been building as well since my pet, Duke, was hospitalized due to heart stroke. Everytime I would settle down and close my eyes, i would immediately open it to check if Duke was okay, if he was still breathing.. Although he is improving, I still can't help but worry. I usually find myself checking up on him, staring at him and making sure he's okay. Sooner or later I finally drifted off.
I woke up 8 hours later with pee on the bed that R thankfully took care of. I still wanted to snooze but I know R was already hungry and he wouldn't eat without me. I finally got out from bed and settled to have early lunch with him.
I went to the bathroom to do my usual morning routine of washing my face and brushing my teeth. What I noticed was a nice pinkish glow on my face. Not the dull-lifeless looking face getting all dried up from the aircon. I'm oily skin and usually I would find my oil glands working after the aircon was shut off... this time, there was none.. or if there was, there was only a nice sort of dewy look.
I don't use any products along with the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate for this challenge. But for my eyes, I use my Eyeliplex-2. I find them to be good for each other. With enough sleep and good products, my face looks nicer and softer.
I see many comedones on my face and I'm glad that this product isn't reacting to it. I'm not feeling any break outs coming on. There are no bumps building up eaither. But I do need I have to my face checked out soon for extractions since I'm using other products in the morning, too.
Overall, I feel that the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate does rejuvenate my skin. I may yet to feel the total effects of it but I am positive that the coming days will only improve my skin.
