Our Magnolia Fried Chicken Recipe! Yes, I Cook! πŸ“πŸ—

Not a lot of people know but I cook. Quite deliciously, too, if you ask the husband. Hihi! On the road to a healthy journey, I started cooking more chicken than pork. For the family though, our choice is always getting it fresh at our neighborhood Monterey Meat Shop and only Magnolia Chicken. I stopped buying chicken from the market and other brands, and pretty much stayed loyal to Magnolia Chicken. Which obviously I'm not the only one who thinks so because Magnolia Chicken is hailed as #PambansangManok.

We will always look to our moms for cooking tips and God knows that I pretty much learned how to cook because of the women in our family. If you ever think that cooking is not empowering, you're wrong. Food is such a vital part of being alive and to manipulate it, to be able to draw its nutrients, that's incredibly empowering. That is why every woman in the kitchen are hailed queens! Serving the best is the goal of every woman. No wonder that Philippine's Miss Universes only endorses Magnolia Chicken Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 69’, Margie Moran, Miss Universe ’73, and, Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 15’.  Naturally, the best only chooses the best!

There's sooo many ways to enjoy Magnolia Chicken and our favorite will always be Fried Chicken. Claud loves anything chicken so I make sure to use only Magnolia Chicken because she deserves the best. Naks! πŸ‘Έ

1. Rub cut-up whole chicken in salt pepper
2. Dry rub Chicken with the seasoned flour.
3. Coat chicken pieces in egg
4. Coat again chicken in seasoned flour
5. Fry til golden brown

You can opt to coat it with Panko breading for more crunch but we do love the Magnolia Chicken skin because it gets really crunchy, too.

Let me tell you a secret whenever I lose confidence with my cooking skills: Work only with the best ingredients and you'll always have something great served at the table. Women like us who wear too many roles deserve something good! Not only for our families but most especially for ourselves and that includes having the best proteins at home. After all, we need fuel for the energy that gets depleted with all our to-do's!
