The Conclusion and Results!



Whenever I tell people that I’m dieting, they all agree… L They really think I’ve packed on the pounds and some said I look so much better thinner. But the real reason I am dieting is to just make healthier choices. You see, I’m not very good at that. I love junk foods, sweets and fast food meals. I grew up walking distance from McDo. Eating fast food was a normal thing for me. When out with friends, I find it hard to choose meals because I don’t eat vegetables and it makes me an odd person in the group.

I notice that I get sick easily, too… So when I say I wanted to diet, it’s not really because I’m fat. I wanted to do this because it’s the best decision for me and my body. I may not lose my tummy, I may always have that bulge but I don’t mind as long as my heart is beating right, I can run for more than a few minutes and not lose my breath or die of exhaustion. I want to lessen the bad food inside me.

So here’s what happened for the past 2 weeks… J

When I saw myself in my bridesmaid gown, I was surprised with how good I look pounds lighter. I’m not thin in this photo (but I’m not exactly popping out of it either). I admit there was great satisfaction seeing my body look well.

I also weighed in a few weeks ago and I am now 118 lbs. compared to my 127 lbs. before I started the NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Program!! Woot!

Taking on this program proved a challenge. No day was the same. First few days were a struggle and each day I learned something. I learned how to fight off sweet cravings, how to become more determined, and to create a plan around my diet, thanks to the My NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Journal.




I learned how important fiber is in the body. Having NESTLÉ FITNESSE, which is a low fat whole grain cereal. It contains less carbohydrates, calories and practically low fat. It helps with lessening the cholesterol without having to eat porridge-like food (eck! Hate those!). Best of all, it’s great for the heart. My family has history of high blood so I have to aid my regular meals with something that is good for the heart and whole grains usually is a great (always available) choice.

I’m also snacking healthier, yogurt and NESTLÉ FITNESSE. Fruits are always welcome. I’ve eaten less meat, too. My meals are now mostly chicken and fish. J



 I still dive back a little to my old habits and enjoy some sweet indulges once in awhile. But looking at the photo during my cousin’s wedding, I know I will never entirely go back…




I like the way I’m deciding my meals and I like how mature I’m becoming about my health… striking a pose confidently, now that’s the sweet cherry on top. J

I’m nearly at the end of my journey and I admit that it’s been a struggle.

At this point, I suggest that you hold your ground. It’s so easy to fall back to your old routine. I’m already feeling the benefits of having more fiber in my body. I feel lighter, my PMS is less intrusive, my bowel movement is more regular and I notice that my food intake is lesser than what used to be. I can’t let all of this go to waste just because I can’t hack it.

Don’t be a slave to your appetite. Here’s what I did to beat falling back to old habits:

I created a Meal Plan - Having a meal plan takes away the guessing of having to pick your meals. I use the My NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Journal. It’s got lots of meals to choose from which allows you be more conscious of the food you eat. Recipes look easy to create and the ingredients are easily found in my favorite grocery. It’s the best way to get that balance…

Exercise – Read the NESTLÉ FITNESSE Everyday Exercise Tip. Do that and add if you still want to do some more. I swam. Despite the rain, I swam at least thrice every weekend. And supplement it with another exercise I can do.

Hydrate – Drink lots of water. When you’re hydrated, you have less cravings. Also a high fiber diet needs a lot of fluid to help with digestion.

I thought I wouldn’t survive but I did. It clearly shows how effective NESTLÉ FITNESSE is. Good thing I was motivated enough and was provided with healthy meals thanks to the NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Journal. Gotta love how virtual NESTLÉ FITNESSE is getting these days. They are really making it easier for us to enjoy having a healthier lifestyle.

During my cousin’s bridal shower of my  NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Program , I fell off the wagon. I ate about 20 cheesesticks, 2 slices of Hungarian sausage and a small bowl of pasta. Not to mention the red velvet cupcakes and cookies with all-you-can-eat icings!

The next day, I vowed to not fall off the wagon again. I went back to my NESTLÉ FITNESSE 14-Day Program that Sunday and ate only cereals. I didn’t realize then that I was PMS-ing and my body isn’t used to my new diet. My hankering for sweets and such was brought on by major hormonal imbalance.

I didn’t realize that I had to be aware of these when I took on the program. When you change your diet, your body will crave for the things you used to give it and it will crave it so badly you’ll feel really bad especially just before you get your period. So I went online and found how to deal with these cravings.

Good thing there are some ways to sate the cravings without having to give in the way you’re used to:

1)      A little bite wouldn’t hurt. – A bite or two of a chocolate bar once in a while is okay. I do this as a sort of reward for a job well done at work.
2)    Exchange sweets for fruit – this is hard to do but I found out that this is better. At work, my officemate Mack would munch on apples as his daily merienda. How cool is that? As for me, I would reserve the fruit compote from my meals as snacks when my afternoon frapuccino cravings would strike.
3)      Try NESTLÉ FITNESSE. – I’ve tweeted time and time again how NESTLÉ FITNESSE Honey & Almonds can kill my craving for sweets, and even for salty foods! I love this as a snack.

What I love: Yogurt with NESTLÉ FITNESSE



I love mixing my new favourite cereal with plain yogurt. It’s yummy and healthy. Yes, I surprise many people by saying that. J

4)      Get rid of all temptations – Remove all things that you know are bad for you. Do not, by any means, go to the snack aisle at the grocery. When your officemates or classmates want to go to the convenience store, politely decline.
5)      Drink iron or magnesium supplement or food that contains enough iron – research shows that women who lack the right amount of iron in their body are more prone to chocolate or sweet cravings.
6)      Drink more water or tea – Keeping yourself hydrated and full of fluids can help with the sweet cravings, as well as detoxifying the body.
7)      Brush your teeth right after a meal – the mint flavour lessens your craving for sweets.

Now I’m back to my 2 meals of NESTLÉ FITNESSE and one balanced meal a day. It’s easier now that I know how to deal with cravings. I simply have to remember why I’m doing this… to shape up my healthy lifestyle. Like me, my body needs to adjust. I just have to be stronger…

I’m back with my 2nd update of my NESTLÉ FITNESSE Program.

It’s getting easier as the days go by, I can tell you that. Even if I’m not used to eating healthy, I’m not entirely unfamiliar with it. As with most diets, it needs getting used to and accepting the changes that are happening.

What I learned from the past five days:

It’s nice when people are supportive of your way to a healthy lifestyle.

The boyfriend wakes me up extra early morning to do at least 10 minutes of cycling on the stationary bike. The people at work rooted for me. Our maid makes sure to cook only healthy meals. I feel lucky that I get the support I need.

Switch to healthier alternatives

I’ve started eating NESTLÉ FITNESSE, regular milk to low-fat, from white sugar to brown sugar, white rice to brown rice and instead of tasty bread, I choose wheat bread at it contains more fiber.


Honey Mustard Chicken with Mixed Vegetable... Yummiest diet ever, I tell you!

With this program, I make sure one or two of my meals consists of 50% greens, 25% proteins, and 25% carbs. I also make sure I drink 8 glasses of water a day to keep hydrated!

I thought that I wouldn’t like the balanced meal part of this program but I was wrong. The meals that I have been eating are really tasty! Compared to the drastic diet I did in the past, the 14-Day NESTLÉ FITNESSE Program might be the right fit for me.


Breakfast is important!



A breakfast meal that is easy to prepare is a bonus for me because it gives me more time to prepare myself for work (read: More time to do my makeup!) I notice that I feel much better whenever I eat NESTLÉ FITNESSE Cereal for breakfast compared to my usual sinangag or pandesal.

I’m still getting there… For someone who enjoys her 3x a day rice meals, this diet sure isn’t a walk in the park. I won’t lie to you and say it’s easy to resist. It isn’t. My only consolation is that NESTLÉ FITNESSE tastes good and I didn’t mind eating it once or twice a day for the last five days.

I got a bracelet and the BF will get the necklace.
The BF actually wore those for the last two bar exams and so far he has not made any back pain complaints when he came home unlike the first two weeks that he would have difficulty with his shoulders and back. So i guess it works, right?


My favorite item out of everything I got is the E-Water
I used this every night after driving because I'm having pains on my knees after a grueling traffic. Then I rubbed some under my eyes to relax the blood pooling there and making my eyes puffy. So far, so good.

The fact that it relaxes the muscle, I knew this would be a hit to me and my friends. Since it's pretty much safe to use on the face, this would be a great face moisturizer as it will definitely ease those wrinkles.




It just really looks like water but a little gel-ly.

The future of Salonpas. Well, not really.
This one is great for those muscle pain on my arms after carrying my uber big bag stuffed with everything I can bring with me.

These things doesn't come cheap, though. But since many atheletes and CEO's got this around their necks, on their backs and even on their bed (yes, they have pillows and bed covers), then this is really something I should think on investing on. :)

The BF's birthday is coming up and I think a nice NBA Phiten necklace of this fave team would be something he likes. Hmmm...
