It's funny how we often think that we have a lot of time to do the things we want... then we just realize that we've already out of time. Well, I'm not about to let that happen. So even amidst chores and tasks, I went ahead and did this bright look using mainly greens and yellows, inspired by a dress I wore during my recent trip to Bohol. It's a very tropical look that reminds me of beach festivities and nature.

Imagine the surprise looks of the guy that delivers our drinking water and the one that picks up our laundry when they saw this look on me! Hahahaha!

I've also missed using green eyeshadows which I realize I have in abundance with the palettes that I own. I concentrated again in using matte eye shadows from my 42 and 120 eye shadow palettes. Although the texture is a bit powdery, I was happy about the pigmentation. Who wouldn't be and the with the price i paid for, barely Php2000! Seriously, it was a jackpot!

It's another FOTD! :) I wore this look at the Vector GPS launch. It's a nifty gadget for those who frequently get lost and it's not just for the car since it's portable. It's almost the same size as my Iphone. I'm thinking of getting the BF one for his birthday since he's a guy.... Therefore, hates asking for directions. LOL!

And I just realized that I forgot to share this cute nifty palette I got from the Rockwell Bazaar in 2009. I haven't even used it save for the blushes. I realized that this will do nicely when I travel. :)

 There are two blushes in the Survival Kit, pink and peach.. :)

One Eye Pencil and one Lip Pencil

Mascara... I love the mascara because of the small wand.

It can get into the corner lashes effeiciently and can be used to apply mascara on bottom lashes.

Given the fact that I don't travel a lot, I'll be making use of this palette even when I'm home. I can even keep this in my makeup kit for emergency purposes. The eye shadows are well pigmented, the lip palette are in my fave shades while we can't have too many pink and peach blushes. And yeah, who doesn't like small mascaras and lip and eye pencils?

For Php1500, I think I got a good deal. But I do hope they sell this a lot cheaper now.

I'm sorry, dear readers, I'm not sure where we can find this now. :( I don't think they pursued putting it on the Philippine Market. But I do hope you'll get a chance to find a Survival Kit much similar to this one. It's really handy and I think all makeup addicts should have one.. if only to provide more space for clothes than makeup in our suitcase. :)

How's your week so far? Mine is getting lamer and lamer. I got a temperature right now. Everyone I know is getting sick but this is my second time during this freak weather we are having. I usually don't get sick but my doctor just advised me to get some bed rest. Like I don't have enough of that. I'm hoping my temperature lowers down today.

Here is my eye of the day last week. I love how this looks so fun for a night out but quirky enough for a daytime wear. Blame it on me, I love colorful eye of the days. I got inspired of this combo from a Sephora e-mail. But I knew I couldn't pull off just the two-toned eyeshadow because I barely have a crease. I knew a shadow crease would compliment the look. So I darkened my crease with the black eyeshadow from the 42 Shimmer Palette that really really reminded me of MAC Carbon. Just a dip is enough to get a good amount of eyeshadow!

Totally boring weekend, sometimes i miss studying when I always have something to do. Nah! Just kidding. :) I'm happy I have all this time to sleep, eat, read whatever books I want or just plain chill. But in this case, I decided to play with my Space Pretty 42 pc. double stack blush palette.

I love how pigmented this palette. I just simply love the payoff. It's not as powdery as the other palettes i owned. Well, its quite obvious given the pictures below. :)


I like this look, its really not so shocking but the false eyelashes just made it look so glam rock. Can you imagine Lady Gaga sporting something similar? I couldn't find my lash scissors so I just left it like that. But I really think it went well save for more blending. :)

As always, its really easy to recreate this look. It's really easy to apply lashes on the lower lash line. I find it easier even to apply it compared to applying it on the upper lash line. :)

TIP:
1. Use a white eyeliner on top of your eyeprimer to make the colors pop more. I love VOV's matte white eyeliner. It's a great dupe for NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
2. In applying false eyelashes, use a tweezer on the other end of lashes and you fingers on the other end. Use the lash comb to pressed it slowly and closely to your lashline.

It was a happy day for me the day after I graduated from makeup school when I received these two palettes. Like gifts for job well done. So, I immediately unwrapped them when I came home from work and tested them out.

I've always been intrigued with a lot of those cheaper palettes available in the market. Now that I am pursuing my dreams of becoming a makeup artist I am all for testing products that'll help me with in the said profession. Because if there is one thing I learn in makeup school, it is unwise to invest in products you rarely use or don't know how to use. :D

Kat has been my fave seller for quite sometime now for reasons that I've met her in person. She's got a great disposition and very patient especially when meeting with her clients. Of course, I soon got lazy and tried her shipping method to purchase makeups from her. :)


I'm glad I have these palettes. Not to mention that its a steal at P1250.00 each at SpacePretty Store.
