Product Review | NEW Palmolive Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner and Cream Conditioner

Dry lifeless hair is one battle I know I had to tackle when I got my hair rebonded. It's the one task I wasn't really looking forward to and that is why my bathroom is always equipped with things that will do the work for me.

The frugal in me will always win now that I'm a mother and a homemaker. So I make sure I use Sampleroom to try out anything first before I actually buy anything off the shelf. Sampleroom is like my dear old friend who always share the things she loves. A veritable roommate that I am that I always go for their recommendations. And let's not be coy, we enjoy receiving free stuff to try any day!

When this landed on my doorstep, I was just about to finish up a bottle of cleansing shampoo from Toni and Guy. Admittedly, I felt apprehensive to immediately change the routine. It's been a looong time since I used Palmolive and I was scared na baka hindi ako hiyang. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who is loyal to a fault to their hair products. But the lure of Intensive Moisture written on the bottle and tube enticed me to give it a try nonetheless

Hmmm.. smell fruity, I told myself. Parang TIGI Bed Head. Yes, girls, the new Palmolive Naturals almost has the same scent as a P1000 shampoo! It has a pearl-like creamy consistency that quickly lathers. And we all know the satisfaction we get from a bubbly shampooing. All those dirt, oils and grime getting off of our hair... ahhh! What a relief!

Shampoo doesn't really have to be complicated. It should just do these 3 simple things.

1. Cleanse the hair
2. Leaves my hair smelling really nice
3. Had a bonus benefit of caring for my hair with extra ingredients.

The last one is pretty much optional but since I was bang for my buck, I look a little extra something for my shampoo.

Palmolive Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner is two-in-one hair product. It leaves my locks smelling like a yummy fruit candy that I feel  And with ingredients like Coco Cream and Milk Protein, my hair feels soft and with my new 'do, it's flipping freely! Lakas maka-bagets ng shampoo ito na!

My life right now is pretty much a smorgasbord of things to do so I appreciate a product that does things doubly hard as me. And it's cheap!! I am in my second bottle and I don't have plans of using another shampoo because hello, it's only P67.55 (currently on sale at Lazada now).

I partnered my Palmolive Shampoo and Conditioner with an additional moisture of Cream Conditioner which I was told by many of my friends, they use themselves. They are fans as well of other conditioners in the market but they keep coming back to Palmolive on because of it's budget-friendly price. One even said commented that I'm sooo caught with the high end brands that I didn't consider the gem of a conditioner Palmolive is!

And if that isn't enough, I tried and believed every word. I know that this Cream Conditioner is not made for rebonded hair but this DRY/COARSE variant helps in keeping my hair soft. It smells lovely but the shampoo has a more lasting scent.

I used the Silky and Straight variant today and ang bango niya! I notice as well that many of the ingredients that Palmolive uses are familiar ingredients found in here in the Philippines. The Cream Conditioner Intensive Moisture contains Coco Cream while the Silky and Straight has Virgin Coconut Oil. How awesome would it be if they sourced their ingredients here. Filipinos helping fellow Filipinos!

I'm glad I gave the new Palmolive Naturals a try! I feel as if I am getting more than what its really worth. I know that Shampoo and Conditioner is often an after thought in our grooming routine, but I'm glad to that I have here an option that is not only saving me lots of money from how affordable it is but is leaves my hair feeling soft, and easy to flip!
