The Makeup Look: Sexy Blues and Bold Pinks

Happy Saturday everyone!

I just realize while I was checking out my youtube subscription that I have been remiss of my duties in giving you gal pals really eccentric, over the top, bright makeup looks like I did before! I definitely deserve some spanking! LOL!

When I saw the look the Berry Mojito from Makeup Geek, I was immediately inspired to finally whip out my brushes and create some really bright makeup loving looks.

I finally took out some makeup palettes I had from way back. I noticed (yes, I did!) that I've been using Urban Decay palette most of the time, it's about time it takes the backseat. So, I whipped out my 78 piece color palette from SpacePretty Store and used it.

I also noticed that I've been neglecting mattes lately. Here, in this look... it will be nothing but matte eye shadows. I forgot how vibrant the 78 piece palette was. With just a good primer and base, the color this palette gives can rival those from other brands. I just love it!

Products used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original)
NYX Jumbo Pencil (Milk)
78 piece Makeup Palette
Fanny Serrano Long-wear Gel Eyeliner (Black)
The Face Shop False Eyelas (ivi)
Revlon Brow Fantasy
Urban Decau 24/7 Glide-on Pencil (Zero - Black)

Oh! Did you notice the false lashes! I am trying to get the hang of using them again. Good thing my favorite Cinema Secrets Spirit Gum Adhesive makes it a lot easier for me to apply the falsies. I really need to up the ante on my makeup skills. I'm getting a bit rusty! Must create looks like this fequently, don't you agree?

Photos below are close up shots of my eyes and lips. I'm very proud of my false lashes application. Allow me to celebrate please!! Fireworks everywhere! Also, I'm glad that my blending skills isn't that bad as I initially thought it would be.

For the lips, I used NYX Round lipstick in Shiva on the outer part and slowly made a gradation with NYX Round Lipstick in Hot Pink and Strawberry Milk. With my lip-smacking, it probably just blended together. LOL!

For the face, I used the following products that always guarantee me a flawless finish:
Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Cover Stick (754)
Avon Ideal Shade Loose Powder (Neutral)

Blush:
78 piece Eye shadow and Blush Makeup Palette

I intentionally applied the blush up the sides of my face and on the temples for a bit of avant garde effect. :)

I really like how the photos turned out but they are much much brighter in person. I look like those kawaii girls that's so popular now. :) I still need to work on my blending skills and on how to make ALL the color pop out more. :)

People are asking if my photos are edited. Nope! They are not! Hahaha! I wouldn't know how, anyway. And if it did, I would give myself a slimmer pixie-like nose! LOL! But thanks, I take that as a compliment. Haha! My photography skills are probably improving or that my camera and lens are just good tools for this type of thing. Hahaha!
