Three Words: Large Fried Chicken

Fried chicken is a pretty universal dish with many variations around the world; there’s Southern-Style fried chicken, Buttermilk, Buffalo Wings, and Korean Fried Chicken, just to name a few. It’s a simple dish that’s easy to make and is enjoyed by almost everyone. But Taiwan’s Large Fried Chicken brings the fare to a-whole-nother level.

Famous for their 12-inch fried chicken, Hotstar has made its name synonymous with “Large Fried Chicken”. Large may be an understatement as they serve breaded chicken that’s about the same size of a human face.

Their Signature Large Chicken is now available in 3 variants: Original, Crispy, and the newly added Superstar with 6 flavors to choose from. Along with Salt & Pepper, BBQ, Sweet & Sour, Chili Pepper, and Red Hot, customers can now get their chicken in Teriyaki flavor, too.

Fried to golden brown perfection, these flavorful mouthfuls can be enjoyed a la carte, with rice, with spaghetti, or with rice AND a side. Add P35+ more for a drink and you’ve got a complete meal. And if you didn’t know this already, bite your way through the chicken instead of cutting it up to preserve the juiciness and crispiness.

With a new variant and flavor added to the choices, large fried chicken enthusiast have more reasons to keep coming back. And if you haven’t tried eating at Hotstar, don’t think twice about dropping by.

BTW, Eastwood Mall has 2 giant murals of the iconic widely-opened mouth that’s great for photo ops. The first one can be spotted immediately near the counter, while the second one is a horizontal version that can be found upstairs. Finally, a branch near me so I can have as much as this as I want!
