Personally, I'm not a gloss girl. There are only a few that caught my attention and most of them wasn't able to maintain it. But I had high hopes with Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Glosses when I swatched them.
They were love at first swatch. The packaging was both sleek and stylish. Very unassuming. The colors popped out well against the clear tube and black patent cap.
In the Philippines, we have 5 shades: Fiery Red, Tangerine Gleam, Rich Raspberry, Pink Watermelon, and Mauve Movement. Shades that were handpicked based on shades that are up to date and suited for all kinds of Filipina lifestyle.
It's non-sticky, non-drying. It's rich and pigmented especially the Fiery Red and Tangerine Gleam. Most of them can be worn alone while the rest enhances lip colors.
Fiery Red is your run-of-the-mill red lip gloss. A classic that must be on your collection. It goes on a little bit sheer than what you see on the swatch but can stand on its own.
Tangerine Gleam is a noteworthy shade. And though I'm not a fan of orange-based lippies, this one proves to be wearable color. A perfect lip product for those who prefers bright stunning shades.
Rich Raspberry is my favorite! It's the perfect everyday-with-an-oomph-lip-color. It's the kind that you can wear alone and just lightly pinch your cheeks for a quick blush. This shades is definitely a go-to for a quick-fix.
Pink Watermelon is a soft pink that's great on fair skin. But those with rich golden brown skin will love the softness of this shades, especially against chiseled cheekbones. It's also that pink lippie that matches well with a smokey makeup look.
Mauve Movement is also a favorite. Subtle and sophisticated. A great lip gloss for fall as it has a way of toning down my bright lipsticks. The mauve undertone also goes well for an understated look that matches, dark rimmed eyes and plum cheeks. Worn alone, it's your go-to MLBB (my lips but better) lip gloss.
Shine never really works for me. So I shy away from lip glosses. But there are times that my look will beg for a sheen on the puckers. Glad to know that I don't have to look far for some stylish shades that fits my skin tone very well. One that doesn't also cost so much. For less than Php300, you really are getting your money's worth with the new Avon Ultra Glazewear Lip Gloss.
And if you're a beauty addict like I am. You're sure to hoard all of it!
