MAKE UP FOR EVER White Definition Powder Foundation | Shen's First Look

A common dilemma for many women I know and I feel this way, too, is the fact that at the middle of the day, all the hard work we put in prepping in the morning goes away just after a few hours at work. We oil up, look dull and worst, oh so terribly tired. Not the look we want to sport if we are getting our caffeine fix at the nearest cafe. Nu-uh.

We can relate it to stress and our job taking the toll on us. And this is from the person who loves what she does! But when you're staring at the computer for so long or been out of the field all day, it can't be helped. Our makeup will run, crease and often fade!

Retouching is the answer! As much as we hate it and as much as most brands claim that their products barely needs retouching, our oilies can be extremely stubborn. Raise your hand if you agree!

I just recently got to introduced to something fancy and what could be an answer to looking dull and flat.

Make Up For Ever invited people to visit their store at Bonifacio High Street for their latest launch of their newest product, White Definition Instant Brightening Powder Foundation.

Exclusively made for Asian, Dany Sanz of Make Up For Ever, created a compact powder that answers a lot of concerns for the us in this side of the world. Being known for flawless, fair skin, we lovey Asian ladies take our skin care seriously and Dany knows that. By creating White Definition that has synthetic mica and lamellar mica which reflects light to give brightening effect for our skin. The Silicon-coated power resists humidty and Elastomeric silicon powder helps reduce oiliness.

With all these rich goodness of ingredients, Dany created a compact powder that provides us with pure matte radiant complexion.

Of course, I needed to try it out first before I can give you my thoughts. Good thing that Make Up For Ever crew was game on doing a make over just for us to feel and see what White Definition is all about.

I came in all oily and my makeup streaking down to my cleavage! I was in desperate need of a retouch. Makeup artist, Ms. Berny, proceeded to remove my face make up and my creasing eye makeup with the Make Up For Ever cleansing water. Then she proceeded with applying the MUFE HD Primer. Then applied the White Definition.

At that point, I was wary that she didn't re-apply liquid foundation on me. I'm use to using some sort of product to make my powder stick to my skin better.

End result, my face did look dimensional and it does have that brightening effect but without that white cast I was expecting. It's not going to be that ultra matte effect that we oily girls are use to with our foundation. But one thing for sure, you won't look haggard. Say bye-bye to dull-looking skin and adios to flat powder foundation.

I really had a wonderful time chatting with these girls and getting to try new makeup with them. Makeup talks are always fun! Thanks to MUFE PH for bringing us together!

I may have to do more road test of this new Powder Foundation. But if you're in the market for a new compact powder and have been a fan or someone who always wanted to try MUFE, this powder foundation seems worthy of checking out.

I'll tell you more about what I think of this in the next few days!
