Product Review: Grow Luscious Mascara with Fabulash

I've had the Revlon Grow Luscious mascara for weeks now. I really wanted to review this unbiasedly because I honestly didn't like it at first swipe. It was doing nothing and it looked like a regular mascara. Obviously, what made this special is the Fabulash formula incorporated on the mascara. It promises to reduce lash fall and strengthen the lashes.

As a mascara, Grow Luscious works like a regular one. It actually reminded me of those old mascaras my tita used. Nothing at all alike to any of the mascara wands I've seen lately. It's a tad too big and the bristles are thick. This made applying the formula a bit easy on the mid lashes but not on the ends... which is the major problem for those who are new to using mascaras.

The consistensy is just right for me. It dries right on time and gives a coat with just a swipe. I'm very happy when it comes to the formulation of this mascara. The brush, I'm sure there's a good explanation why Revlon decided to use a wand for their Grow Luscious.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure yet about its ability to strenghten and enhance lashes. But doing my research on Fabulash, there are a lot of positive result on their product reviews. So, I guess that with continuous use of this mascara, I will see positive results.

Actually, I noticed that there are less lash fall whenever I use this mascara. I'm not sure if its a sort of placebo effect as well, but my lashes a lot thicker even if I'm not using a mascara... oh well, I'll never know for sure.. :) I forgot to take before photos.

Revlon Grow Luscious Wand

Revlon Grow Luscious 11.2 ml.

What I love is how big this mascara is compared to those I already have on my stash. Well my Revlon Double Twist 11.8 ml of product in it but if you're one to think of your lashes' welfare but can't stop putting on mascara (like me), then Grow Luscious is the best for you.

Shelf life: 6 months from date of use

Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara when applied:
(two coats)

What I love...
1. The idea that it keeps my lashes strong and healthy.
2. Less lash fall..
3. Provides enough lengthening effect
4. Doesn't need a lot of coverage
5. Best for everyday use...

What I don't...
1. The wand that can't get into all my lashes...
2. Price is a bit steep... but hey, it keeps the lash fabulous.
