Sunsilk FOTD and Update on Skin Care Solutions

For the Sunsilk Hair Experts Media Launch, I wore a floral dress with black vest. I wanted to bring out my eyes just a tad bit since its night time but still subdued enough as not to look like I was trying too hard. So I settled for my usual look.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15PA + has been my staple "events" foundation. Now that my skin has cleared up, I have lesser pimples and dark spots to cover up. This foundation helps even out my skintone and hide those drak spots I still have. Its a dream to apply, I use a wedge sponge after I apply my favorite undereye concealer, Skin Food Salmon Concealer. I then tap my foundation with Mineraux Premium Foundation in Neutral Fair as it gives me a fairer look and blends into my skin as hours pass by.

My go to bronzer MAC Refined Golden is the best bronzer for me. I hardly use anything else. For blush, I used my Mineraux Plum Blush to give me that nice pinkish mulberry look. Not too much since I don't want to look like a clown.

My Modelco Designer Brows Palette wouldn't ran out even if I want, too. But then again, I don't since it gives my brows the right shade for my hair. I love how its easy to applu with my MAC 266. Thanks to Browhaus Serendra for keeping my brows looking fabulous. I always go back to Browhaus because I think they are the only ones who really can understand my weird brows. Don't I look neat with my brows are styled and threaded in a way that fits my face?

For the lips, I used NYX Frosted Flakes, the beige evens out my eyes while the frost doesn't completely make me look so pale. I topped this off with my favorite Smashbox Illume Lipgloss I got from my tita as Christmas gift.

For the eyes, I went to my first love, Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume I. Thanks to Gracie for this gift, as always. This palette always excites me since I first got it. The bright colors may seem intimidating at first but they really are wearable. I used Shattered (sort of light greenish blue), Goddess (Shimmery Blue Green), Last Call (Plum satin-like) and Perversion (Black with green specks).

I lined my eyes with my uber favorite Maybelline Felt Tip Liner. This is the best buy ever at Maybelline. I've had mine since last year and it's still as pigmented since I first got it. I also use my Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara I got from a multiply seller (MakeupKit). I love how it makes my lashes into patent-like stilettos. I haven't use my Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Honey. Its so golden! I always make excuses to wear this.

Necklace from Accessorize

I'm always looking forward to playing with my makeup. But lately, I am enjoying my skin so much that I hardly put anything on it. One of you asked how I got to achieve this complexion. I really don't know how. I just lessened what I put in my face, took skin-clearing medication last year (with the supervision of a Dermatologist) and started eating healthy. With all the products I've used before, I'm sure many of them are contributors to how my skin is behaving now.

I use different kinds of skin care. I use Clinique, Flawless products, Kiehl's and other things. I've provided reviews of some skin care products I use so feel free to browse my site. Although I would suggest that you first consult with a PDA certified dermatologist if your skin is really acting up. There is nothing like the hands of an expert professional to take care of your skin.

I frequently visit RENU Skin Clinic in 5th Floor Megamall for my skin care problems. They make sure my breakouts are under control. For maintenance, skin cleaning and removing of comedones, I frequent Flawless lately. But there is nothing like a doctor to really help you out.

I really hope that this behaved skin goes on forever. But only time can tell.

much love,
Shen
