This is definitely a Love at First Swipe the moment I put it on. It's the shade that I would go to if I feel I like I have Nothing to Wear just because the shade is neutral but really pretty. It's a no-brainer kind of shade and my friends weren't surprised when I picked this out of the bunch. It's the kind of color that stays put even after you've eaten. A light retouch here and there and you're Ready in Five with this shade.

Aside the awesome These Lips Don’t Lie Lip Crayon Collection, Pink Sugar also launched three new shades of HD Lipsticks in matte formulation. 💋💋💋You know how much I love their their HD matte lipsticks right here so you’re sure that I’d rave about these babies, too.

Ubusan ng Pera collection is what I call these trio because I don’t think I can pick out a favorite. Lahat sila are making me drool! Pant, even! How gorgeous are these shades right?

The swatches alone are immaculate! 

Is it the tita in me?? I don't think so, Uso kaya lahat tong shade na 'to!

Butter is described as a creamy pink nude, Sinful is a muted rose brown shade while Wicked is a muted mauve. If I would create my own collection of lipsticks, these would be it! It's like Pink sugar listened to my soul, to my dreams. Naks!

But yeah, I'm totally digging these shades right here and they are easily some of the nicest colors I've seen lately. Wow! Pink Sugar is really nailing it and really putting the beauty competition to a whole new level. I'm beyond impressed. If you can get these on trend lip colors for P299, every Pinay will have fashionable lips! Un oh!

If you're lemming for more brow products, brow mascaras are not enough then you will love the Hey I'm Good Eyebrow Palette they released this month. As a huge fun of almost all their lip colors, I have high hopes for this new collection.

Hmm.. have you noticed a bit of downgrade when it comes to the ColorStay packaging? Let me know if it's just me. But I am not liking the container for this one. Although the quality seems strudier than the ones from Wet n Wild and BYS, and that each container matches the shade of the lipstick, it isjust not at par with some of their previous lipstick collection. I must check out Revlon counters soon and see if this has been going on for awhile.

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick glides on smoothly and color payoff is quite amazing. The pigmentation is buildable but you barely need an effort. It looks and feels like a lipstick..... but wait at least 3 or 4 minutes... like those thriller shows, the lipstick starts to change. It becomes tacky and when you smack your lips together they stick. It was very uncomfortable. Especially since I hate sticky lippies (that's why I love lip butters!).

And guess what? The color transfers from from upper to my lower lip. It reminds me of Max Factor's Lipfinity when you forgot to use the gloss. It's that scotch tape-like stickiness that irks the hell out of me. Worst is that it settles on my lines (I've got many of those on my lips) and it dries out my lips even. :( And it's not that long lasting either. :(

So sad because they have such amazing, truly unbelievable color selections. I mean, just look at these shades? Aren't they gorgeous? I love all of these colors. Especially Iconic, Couture and Muse.

Okay... I really hate giving bad reviews. But these lipsticks are kind of a dud for me. It's unlike any other lip colors I've tried and believe me, I'm very easy to please. And despite the fact that I did my best to like this collection, I didn't. I only kept on using them because of the lovely shades. :(

You can definitely still try them out but always keep them close at hand if you don't want to experience that kind of lip liner effect where all your lipstick are gone except at the edge and corners of it? Only a few people can pull-off the Chola look.

Sadly, I've got to give a thumbs down to the Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick. I'm sure they've got more collections that'll come soon that I'll love and gush to pieces.

Yes, you read it right. I found a replacement for the famous, cult fave Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Bobbi Brown definitely changed my opinion with creamy shadows. Before you couldn't make me buy anything that is within the vicinity of creamy products for the eyes. Most that I've tried in the past creased on me big time and I just end up tossing them to the bin or they are now currently gathering dust and taking space in my room.

Skeptic at first, I went ahead and tried it. I was swayed by the fact that it's from Bobbi Brown (the brand I love so much!) and of course, by numerous international beauty blog's raving reviews online. Knowing how oily my lids can get, I was excited to give it a go. And guess what? It worked.

Brand putting the term "long wear" on their collection can get totally misleading given that our skin reacts differently with a lot of products. I'm just glad that when Bobbi Brown puts a label on her collection, she always delivers and cuts down on the BS of advertising and marketing. She's always encouraging and never pushing. I don't know how she does it but she's always right on the money IMHO.



The Long Wear Cream Shadow in Shore is as it says. It stays on without creasing for at least 12 hours (air conditioned environment and minimal exposure to humidity and outdoors). The texture is creamy and smooth that applying it on my lids is easy. It also doesn't dry out fast so I get to blend my pressed or powder shadows. What's great is that it adds vibrancy to the shadows. More so that it comes in different shades that allows you to pair them with your makeup look. When you want to cover the bases, this is a great makeup base to use.

Oh! I haven't tried using this alone but I guess it works just as great, too. :)

I can't believe it myself. Cream shadow that works for oily lids. No creasing at all. Well, it's true. Take my word for it. This is the real deal and this why this baby is on my Best of 2012!

Just goes to show we don't always have to look far for great products. :) Yay for no more frustration when UDPP rans out. Here's to my favorite eye primer, Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Shore.

But before I talk about Candy Bar BB Cream, here's what Fairydrop's got to say about it:

What I love: (at least on makeup front and not on it doubling as skincare)

• Light Ochre matches my skin tone! And you know how hard that is to say about BB Creams
• The sponge applicator makes it easy for me to apply the cream
• Provides light to medium coverage
• Stays on for hours (despite oilies seeping through)
• Dries into a semi-matte finish
• Great at controlling the redness on my face
• Can skip concealer if you don't have very dark blemishes or pigmentation.
• Brighten skin easily
• Come in a cute packaging (always a +, if not entirely important)
• Photographs well (as you can see on the photos)

What I don't:

• Like other BB Creams, oil control is still not it's best feature.
• Can be quite expensive to some. This cost Php1550.
• Shades are limited to fair to medium skintone.
