This one got to me because of my recent health scare that showed how poor decision in my health can lead to devasting results. "It's never too late for a La-Z-Boy." That's what my husband said when the La-Z-Boy recliner arrived. He's actually the one who wanted it for the longest time and now I understand why. It's the best recliner EVER. Naturally, I have tried them already in cinemas but never did I realize that having one at home would be life changing.

I didn’t realize that being a mom meant I have to be on my feet 24/7. Claud just turned one year and five months and she’s getting very active! I sometimes can’t keep up with her. But it’s a joy to see her progress, see her develop and to see things in her eyes. She lights up with every little thing. I like chasing her around. That meant that we exercise her leg muscles. They are so cute and adorable just like the rest of her.

My latest role in life is the one I've always wanted to play my whole life. Being a mother to Claud is more than I could ever wish for and it's been a blessing to rear such a wonderful child. But I have to admit that even as I try, I was not that ready with the fast-paced life I lead now being a mom, a homemaker and a career woman. I'm sure many will agree with me!

Sometimes, even a Supermom needs some R&R, too.

I know it’s a bit late celebrating Independence Day or Linggo ng Wika, but I recently discovered a great way of celebrating Pinoy Pride every chance I get. Especially now that our talent, skills and beauty are getting recognized all over the world with us doing so well in lots of competition like the FIBA World, International Dragon Boat Tournament, International Football competitions and of course, Miss Universe and other beauty pageants. Pinoy Pride is innate in all of us. We love celebrating our heritage. I for one love this country with all my heart. I can’t see myself leaving it and going abroad. For me, Philippines is the greener pasture.
