L'Oréal Women of Worth Unveiled + NEW Products!

L’Oréal Philippines recently unveiled their very first brand Fiipina Ambassadors, Solenn Heusaff for L’Oreal Makeup, Cheska Garcia-Kramer for Hair Color and Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo for their skincare line..

We admire these women from their roles in films and televisions for a long time. We poured hours reading about them in magazines and scanning their Instagram. I, for one, is a big fan of Dawn Zulueta and have watched almostall her films. Cheska has become an epitome of what a real-life mother should be that it is possible to do it all! While Solenn, well, she’s the proverbial thinspiration urban women aspires to be. From their notable characters in films, their well-documented family moments, travels and fashion choices, these women got us hooked! No wonder they are pzrt of the roster of fabulous women who swears by L'Oréal!

I’d like to say that we can be these women once we use the products they endorse but really we won’t. I have to be honest enough to say that to you. But like them, we are women who is always in search of products that is worthwhile. For them , they found theirs in L’Oreal.

Dawn Zuluenta-Lagdameo is happy that she can finally share with millions of Filipina women what kept her skin looking young. For 10 years, she has relied on L’Oreal skincare and now, the complete line of Revitalift Laser to combat fine lines and wrinkles. Not that she minds aging, she actually attunes aging to wisdom and with that the ability to choose what’s best for her skin and what works to maintain it. She doesn’t believe in cosmetic surgery and chose the better path of having a healthy lifestyle and a good skin care regimen. I think that’s quite commendable in the industry she’s in considering how demanding it is to look beautiful and young 24/7.

If you’re on a hunt for a skincare, Dawn recommends the whole line of L’Oreal Revitalift X3. Signs of aging starts to appear at our 30’s, preventive measures can be taken by using products with active ingredients to fight it. Revitalift Laser has 3% Pro-Xylane that re-plumps and re-densifies the skin by stimulatiion with fiber synthesis. This will promote skin hydration to make it appear smoother and with longer use, reduce fine lines. It also contains LHA to minimize the appearance of pores and refines skin texture; and Adenosine to correct line and smooth out wrinkles.

If you are under a lot pressure from work, has crazy hours that you practically lose sleep, and are also often exposed to the sun, you can definitely start this regimen.  Aside from having a happy disposition, a regimen like this can only improve the state of our skin.

Solenn Heusaff is definitely what we can call the modern woman. With the many hyphens this woman has under her belt, and being half-French and half-Filipina, it came to no surprise to me that she is the chosen ambassador for the makeup category.

Did you know that Solenn is a professional make-up artist? I remember her being featured in magazine as one of Manila’s sought after makeup-artist. But fate has more in store for this multi-faceted woman that made her the ultimate “It Girl”. With millions of followers Solenn is all about empowering women and to help them realize their own beauty. And what better way to do it than through living it herself. She believes that all Filipinas are women of worth and she considers it her goal to show it to each and every one of them.  And using her many talents she is determined to do this with L’Oreal colors.

And wouldn’t make it easier for us to have immediate access to the lipstick she’s wearing once she posts wearing them on  Instagram? After all L’Oreal is available nationwide.
Solenn’s favorite at the moment is the L’Oreal Tint Caresse, the first ever powder lipstick that has one of nicest matte consistency I’ve ever tried. It’s transfer-proof and highly-pigmented and what I love most about it is that it feels lightweight! And what’s awesome, it’s now only Php350.

Cheska Garcia-Kramer with her many roles and especially being a mom to her three adorable kids and a wife to her husband, Doug doesn't show any sign that she's busier than ever!

I admit I felt a bit bad that she looks so great. I mean, I have one child and here I am with roots and white hairs showing with barely any time to visit the Salon! What she disclosed though gave me a sense of comfort because she apparently colors her own hair! Well, maybe not all the time, I mean she’s a celebrity and all. But knowing that I can achieve great looking hair even at the comfort of my own home, I find myself being able to breathe easier. After all, it’s a lot cheaper than getting them at the salon all the time. I’ve done it a few times the past year and it really was not as bad as I thought it would be.

Cheska is all about multi-tasking and harnessing her powers as a super mom. She shares that even with a busy schedule, she finds time to look good. Her

But if you’re apprehensive in making any DIY hair coloring boo-boo’s, L’Oreal Paris Excellence Crème in a box promises rich, radiant and long-lasting hair color. I’m actually contemplating to get my hair coloring done by a salon but opted to do it at home with this. Each box comes with a set of tools and products that you will need. There’s the Pre-Color Protective Treatment, Coloring Crème and Developer, Conditioner, a handy comb applicator and gloves.

For me though, I find it easier to pour it all in non-metal bowl and apply is with a brush (similar to what Salon uses) to get the even coat especially when covering gray hair.

These three Filipinas are definitely looked up to and are worthy to be called Women and Worth for their wonderful influence on women. And though we will never look svelte and as beautiful as them, know that your worth is not measured by your physically attributes. Looks comes not even a close second. Rather these women with their talents have made a difference in their industry and I think that’s what we should emulate and not just the products they use.

Some of us may not be able to afford these products at all and that’s alright. You are beautiful and you are women of worth nonetheless. Never think of yourself any less.

But if you're curious about how these products fare on my skin, please feel free to check back here from time to time, I will be reviewing these for you all!

Much love!!
