Beauty Boot Camp at Fab Salon | It's a Beauty Bloggers Affair

When I got an invite to visit Fab Salon at the Newport Mall of Resorts World, I was really happy to know that they already have a salon inside that beautiful building. I've been going to Resort's World a lot lately and it would be really nice to kill time inside a hair salon instead of packing on the calories at the restos when I get there too early.

It's located at the 4th level, right besides McDonald's. it's kind of covered by the window-facade, so just go in there and check it out after reading this post. I'll be showing you a few of the services that we all indulged in during our visit.

One of the things I noticed was the affordability of services at Fab Salon. I'm quite used to seeing high price tags on salon services located at high-end salons such as Resort's World. I was really pleasantly surprised that it's up my budget alley.

And the reason I was pleasantly surprised was because the products they use are the best in the hair-styling business from L'oreal, Schwarzkopf and Davines...

The best of it all, their Creative Director is Lourd Ramos of Creations Salon! Now that's putting the money where the mouth is! I've been to Creations several times and it's always a good visit whenever I do. I can certainly put my faith in a salon if Lourd shared his knowledge in ensuring to give Fab Salon clients the best. That alone can certainly give me enough reasons to go back to Fab Salon.

Our visit was like a Beauty Boot Camp wherein each chair has a designated service that we can try. There was Foot Spa, Manicure, Eyebrow Threading, Blowdry, Haircut and Massage.

I first tried the Back Massage (Php200) which is soooooo good! Look for Joane, she's like an Amazon Angel, strong but gentle. She's the girl with the hazel eyes and really pretty. :)

Another service I tried was the Eyebrow Threading (Php200) which is really nice if you're in need of a quick browfix.

I also got my haircut with their head hair stylist. She trimmed a bit of my hair to reduce the weight and of course, the split ends.

The Shampoo/Blow-dry (Php350 for Extra Long Hair) was okay. I suggest getting the Haircut instead (Php 300 for all kinds of hair lengths) which has shampoo and blow-dry already. It's cheaper especially if you have extra time to kill or in need of a haircut anyway.

I also got a Manicure (Php200), and it's probably the fastest manicure I've ever gotten. We were done in about 10 or so minutes, I think. I chose a Sally Hansen golden shade because you know I love (love love!) gold! Too bad it's not as lasting as OPI or Orly. Good thing they have other polishes available. I didn't see OPI or China Glaze though...

Wanna know what services other beauty bloggers had?

Jheng had a blow-dry and the back massage. She had the massage first when she arrived, upon my recommendation. And in the end, we decided that we both wanted to take Joane home! Hehehe! Oh! That's Joane right there at the picture below.

I caught Sophie and Nikki having their brows threaded and they love it as much as I did!
They also had their hair, nails and massages. :)

Birthday girl, Phoebe, had dibs on the Foot Spa! Look at her looking radiant! Not looking her real age at all. :)

Kira, dear, is waiting for her turn for the foot spa after her refreshing Flash Facial. (photo below) oh and they se Dermatoligica for their facial. Sosyal!

Birthday girl, gets a whole new makeover at Fab Salon!! :) Check out her new do at her blog www.phoebeann.me

Nikki posing for me before she takes a seat at the Hair Cut station.

Tada! The next time I saw Alex, she's all looking Fab with her new do! Love love love this girl. She's always so finesse.

Not exactly sure what service Jill of KikayExchange availed but I just had to take photo of her. I think the Gary, her doting hubby, was already downstairs waiting for her. Sweet!
