Forgive for the late post but if you still don't know, Chairo Pink in Tiendesitas is now The Purple Groom. It seems that my favorite groomer is taking the hot spots in Tiendesitas and making quite a name. Which in my opinion, is just right since the more salons they open, the more dogs can care for.

The Purple Groom has been consistent when it comes to service of dog grooming, that is why I've always been a client since I tried them over 3 years ago. Watching their business grow only proves that consistency and dedication. The Purple Groom is owned by Jayme, a young man who inherited from his parents the love for animals and hard work. And I'm only too happy to share with you guys their success.

Why wouldn't I when they care for my dogs as much as I do and make them prettier every time we come for a visit.

Take a look at their new dog grooming salon, located at the west part of Pet Village at Tiendesitas, Frontera Verde, Pasig.

I used the Medicated Shampoo with Green Tea.

Cleo and Duke ready for bath! :) I got there a bit late in the day and as expected, there's a line. I usually stay at SM Hypermart since I can't stand the heat of Tiendesitas. Yes, I don't mind leaving my dogs alone in Purple Groom. They provide my pets with water and there is always air conditioning for them.

Groomers in The Purple Groom are courteous and respectful of what the pet owners want for their pets.

One of my favorite groomers is this guy, Aries. He does bear cut perfectly same Junior and Tata.

Given that my pets are rowdy and very makulit, groomers in Purple Groom knows how to make them behave without being overly abusive.

I just had to take this picture of duke!

Oh my god! He's so fluffy!

That day, a group of foreigners who organizes dog shows approached me and adored my Duke and his cut. :)

Cuteness!

I just love my Duchess! :)

Duke resting after he's fussed over by foreigners. :)

Where's my hug, mommy?

Hi everyone! I'm Duke and I'm taking over my mom's blog for awhile.

Few weeks ago, Mom and Dad took me to the new Purple Groom Salon at California Garden Square to visit Tito Jayme's new Purple Groom salon. They have over 4 now, I think. We favor Tiendesitas more but that's because we live near Tiende. We've been "suki" of Purple Groom for years now and I love it!

When my Lola's favorite groomer left the salon he was working at, Mom and Dad had a hard time finding a new groomer for me. Not until Tito Jayme's dad convinced my mom to try out Purple Groom. Like Mom, Tito Jayme's family has cute pomerarians, too so that convinced her to try out TPG.

And now, I'm their Dog Ambassador! And I couldn't be more pleased. Like mom, I don't want to endorse something I've never tried before and I can tell you know that TPG is the best grooming salon... Tata, Junior,  Aris and the rest of the TPG people are great. They love me so much and they reprimand my parents if I'm not being well-taken care of. I think they love me as much as my parents and grandparents does. And Tito Jayme, he's cool!

Of course my mom should be in the picture, too! :) She's the reason why Tito Jayme asked me to be his dog ambassador. Because mom is a successful and beautiful beauty blogger!

Purple Grooms's latest Salon opened at California Garden Square in Mandaluyong and it's got quite a space for y'all dog lovers. CGS do have quite a numebr of tenants that have dogs and I'm sure they'll appreciate a walking distance dog grooming salon in their area.

I met a lot of dogs that day but I'm pretty much aloof. I'm like Dad, I'm quiet and I don't like being told what to do. Mom is such a social butterfly who keeps on talking and talking and talking and laughing and then talking some more with her blogger friends. I don't really care. I just want my grroming done and get it over with. And I'm not being a diva... I'm just chill like that.

That's Liam, our photographer dog, and his pretty friends. We kind of look a noh? That's me on the left. A diffrent like of hair cut. I think Junior and Tata gives the best groom. But I don't mind this one. My nose is always wet after grooming, I don't know why.

I'm looking at a food! I don't like cameras but hey, this is the life of a celebrity. I gotta get used to this. Mom's a natural. She's so pretty!

I'm turning Japanese... Well, I'm tired already!

With Tito Jayme, my mom and dad.

So happy it's done!! :) I don't really like to be in the limelight. I don't understand why I'm an ambassador. I just sleep, bark, eat, sleep and play everyday. I think they got me just because of my pretty face and great fur... Isn't that too superficial? I think I should do more... Like join a cause or engage in extra curricular activity.

Here's more photos of me after grooming at Purple Groom. And I'm not the only ambassador in the family! :) Everyone one is!

Got groomed before visit to the Vet. I love Doc Xtian but I hate needles.. :( Tata made me look swanky and his bear cut is the bomb. I like him. He's on my Christmas List. Mom, we need to get Tata something for Christmas. Him and Junior.

Duchess and I, waiting for Cleo to finish.

Raja's getting a lot of attention. I like it. So people don't bother me anymore, only him.

Cleo looks sweet but she's a she-devil. I don't like her very much.

Raja loves the camera. Mom like to take his picture a lot because he doesn't squint.

Cleo.. uugghh! She's so messy!

That's Duchess, she hates camera, too. Yeah, that's how we roll.

Last Wednesday, the BF and I decided that the kids (by that I mean, our dogs) need to get their monthly grooming done and to give them a little treat. And where do I take them? At their favorite groomers, The Purple Groom. It's located at the newest section of Pet Village where half of the Antique Village was. I guess the business was booming that's why they decided to widen it out.
After our favorite groomer from another pet shop got pirated to another city, it took us awhile to find that groomer that we were comfy with.. It was actually a trial and error for me and R. We wanted someone who knows how to do a bear cut or puppy cut for Pomerarians. We saw a lovely Chinese couple who had a grooming shop at Pet Village, the dad told us to give their service a try and that they have a new shop open that would fit all my kids.

Since we haven't found that perfect groomer yet, I didn't see the harm in trying. And I'm glad I wasn't disappointed. Grooming can be very expensive be it a small or large breed dogs. And when you have 3 of them, it's no joke the money you spend. So far, I can say that with the client service, both on my dogs and how accomodating they are to the pet owners.

I can say that all of the groomers are pretty skilled in dog grooming. It's as if they can do it with their eyes close.
No matter how fancy dog grooming store is, when they have groomers lacking in skill, it's no use. Thankfully, I don't have to settle. The Purple Groom has nice interiors, enough seats and benches for waiting, clean cages for your pets and no funky smell pet salon.

And they take good care of my babies going as far as giving them water when they need it.

Best of all, all my dog come out of The Purple Groom looking pretty that several people walking past the store wants to get their picture taken with my pups!

Chio, groomed by Aris

Duke, groomed by Tata

Duches, groomed by Junior

The Results

Duke
The celebrity dog, as I call my Duke. He's the best thing that R ever gave me and saved our relationship, too. When Duke came into our lives, I knew R and I are meant to be together forever. This puppy cut actually started with my mom when a groomer suggested it. My mom's the reason why Duke is doubly cuter now! She's the one who discovered Duke can rock a cut like this! Thanks, Mom!

Duke waiting for his treats

I got a Shih-tzu so I have someone who looks like me. But as the months go by, Chio is starting to like his dad! Grumpy like him, too! Hmp! But at least, it's me he cuddles to at night when it's cold. I love this cut and Aris certainly knows how to get rid of the tear stain and build up around his knows without it looking too awkward. And looking at now, you couldn't even tell he suffered from tear staining!

Cute brothers Chio and Duke

Awww! Duchess look somber... she's so pretty with her puppy cut. Her shedding has settled down, thankfully. She looks fragile now with her cut and it makes me want to cuddle with her all the time!

They are just get cuter and cuter every after groom!!

I'm very satisfied with The Purple Groom and if you have a pup that needs a makeover, they I definitely recommend you try The Purple Groom.

Grooming for each of my dogs are Php450. I give tips to the groomers of course. :)

The Purple Groom is located right across the car entrance of Tiendesitas on the North Side, in front of the Transcom Building.
