Belo AcnePro Before and After Use | #GoodbyePimpy
Let me introduce Pimpy. Pimpy is the bane of most Filipina's existence. Pimpy is the kind of thing that comes out when you least expect it. It seems to manage to come up at a time to look your best! Sometimes Pimpy doesn't come alone, it come with other Pimpies, too. Yes, it’s a Pimpy Takeover, a que horror moment that takes over your life almost every month (or daily if you’re like!)!
Pimpy or Pimpies are a pain. And for weeks after giving birth, I've been experiencing a Pimpy Takeover. I was hell-bent on going to back to work and being in PR, it is unacceptable to have Pimpies to take with me to work! So I decided to give Belo Essentials AcnePro a try. This new line promises to get rid of Pimpies in no time with a special ingredient that is very new! It contains Purified Bee Venom extracts that promise to treat mild to moderate acne and an effective anti-inflammatory treatment. And you know me, I like trying out new things!
First Step: Cleanse with AcnePro Pimple-Fighting Gel Face Wash

This is a very gentle facial wash great for teens and those suffering from acne brought by puberty that may not be ready for intense cleansers. It’s ideal, too, for those with sensitive skin. It also contains niacinamide (vitamin B3), an ingredient used to lighten the skin. So even at the first step, AcnePro Pimple-Fighting Gel Face Wash helps with treating my pimple but also lightening my dark spots.
This shouldn’t be used as a makeup remover. Use a separate product to remove makeup especially those that are water-proof.
Second Step: Tone with AcnePro Treatment Toner

Again, like the AcnePro Pimple-Fighting Gel Face Wash, this is a very gentle toner. It doesn’t sting and won’t cause any peeling (micro or macro). Its purpose is to treat the acne and get rid of impurities and any makeup residue. I love how clean my skin feels every after use. Really amazing! This is my second favourite product out of the three.
Third Step: Repair with AcnePro Pimple Gel

This, for me, is the star product. AcnePro Pimple Gel is the last step to this simple regimen to treat Pimpies! It’s really effective and works equally as some of my expensive and high-end pimple gels. In a day, Pimpies that I was able to caught before they actually “ripen” subsided! And those that I wasn’t able to catch and turned to a full-blown Pimpies, AcnePro Pimple Gel dried them up in a two to three days.
My thoughts:
This line is really unlike any other pimple treatments that I've used in the past. It's so gentle compared to the heavy chemical-based skincare that I used previously. I almost wanted to stop using it. But I was worried to use strong acne treatments for fear that it might transfer on my daughter's skin. It didn't help that the wash doesn't lather like soap. But of course, that that doesn't the product isn't working. So sige lang, I still went on to use it.
Here is the before and after state of my skin. I have Pimpies on my forehead, in between the brows, cheeks and chin. Really these are the worst parts of the face to get Pimpies. Nakakainis.
But I was confident with the purified Bee Venom that's been prove to treat mild to moderate acne and inflammation. Not to mention that it's the latest "It" skincare ingredient out there. I continued using the Belo Acne Pro daily, never forgetting to eat and drink healthier food and getting a full night sleep. I guess it paid off because in 3 days, I notice that the Pimpies started to subside and that I wasn't experiencing any further breakouts.
In two weeks, there is a noticeable difference. Here’s my after photo after two weeks of exclusively using this line. I have to admit that I was not that confident that it would really do well but in two weeks, no more Pimpies! No more Pimpy Takeover!
