All For Mom Event at Fisher Mall Department Store | May 10, 2PM
Friends from Halo Philippines would like me to invite you guys this May 10, 2 PM for the ALL FOR MOM event to be held at the Children's and Infants' Department Store (3rd Level) of Fisher Mall. This is in lieu of their celebration of Mother's Day.
I'll surely attend this event as this will be the same day I will be visiting The Medela House to have my breast properly fittted for the pump that my sisiter-in-law lent me. DH and I have been exhausting our weekends in attending classes and seminars. It has a way of bringing us closer together, making this pregnancy a lot more fun and at the same time we get to learn so much from experts.
For the All For Moms event, I'm particularly interested in hearing tips from licensed childbirth educator Chiqui Brosas-Hahn. During our second trimester, I researched on child birthing classes and have found Rome Kanapi and Chiqui Brosas-Hahn to be the most popular gurus on said subject. But given that most of my friends (both in real life and social network) attended Ms. Rome, I went ahead and took her class (and it was the best decision ever!). So this time, I want to take advantage and further arm myself with the bit of knowledge that Chiqui can impart during this event.
I've been researching as well on how to care for my newborn and safe sleeping has been one of my major concerns. I've been learning swaddling via YouTube but I want to see it in actual. Ives Lim-Esteban of Halo Philippines is an advocate of Safe Sleeping and she will be sharing her knowledge about the subject.
And who wouldn't want to learn about natural child-rearing from celebrity moms Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Bianca Araneta-Elizalde? This event will be hosted by Miss World Runner-Up Bianca Saldua.
