Give Your Hair a Natural and True TLC

Are we still getting fooled by shampoo commercials that show celebrities with long luscious hair, when those spokespeople have short hair in real life? Am I the only one noticing this? Because I think we’re smarter than that.

I’m glad that most of the people I know are not as easily fooled and are always on the look out for the best and most natural hair care available. That’s why I think it’s time for me to share with you my recent discovery. No special video effects, no big names and couture dresses.

Just me.

I just want to go back to basics and highlight the real stars, the ingredients. Because more than anything in a shampoo bottle, they really are the ones who are hard at work in giving us a shiny and sleek 'do.

Moringa-O2 has been on the beauty scene for quite some time, and I know for a fact that they are now a cult-fave. I’ve seen grocery shelves sell out their products. No surprise that they moved to creating more variants that better cater to specific Pinay hair care woes. One of which, is my current dilemma: Frizzy hair! Their anti-dandruff has taken care of my scalp for so long that I think it is time to give their Anti-Frizz a try.

The New Moringa-O2 Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner in Smoothening + Nourishing + Anti-Frizz has four major ingredients that are known to provide repair, moisture and shine to our hair.

Malunggay (Moringa)

The shampoo's hero is Malunggay, the "Wonder Gulay" of the Philippines. I’m actually eating it right now because it’s an awesome galactagogue (a substance that promotes lactation) for nursing moms. It’s a simple plant, but has great healing qualities for the scalp. It’s also local so you know you are supporting your own when you use this brand.

Olive Oil

I can certainly vouch for olive oil as a great cleansing agent that also retains moisture to the skin. It’s not heavy and it leaves a nice sheen on the strands. It will also leave your scalp healthy as it contains Vitamin E and A.

Sunflower Oil

Also known as Omega oil, sunflower oil is a very well-known moisturizing agent, and is rich in B-Complex that leaves the hair nourished. All of which makes the hair a lot more manageable.

Argan Oil
This is a centuries-old hair care secret that contains high dose of Vitamin E. Argan oil has been known to reverse hair and skin damage. It’s the best at protecting the hair from splitting and breakage. It goes deep into the body of the strands to protect the hair inside out.

Combine all of these ingredients together along with vitamins and minerals, the shampoo and conditioner provide what they call a Triple-Layered Care Effect or TLC. This allows for deeper and faster absorption that makes hair smoother, better-nourished and free from frizz. It also contains natural sun protection and the fruity-floral scent lasts ALL DAY. I’m not kidding.

The Moringa-O2 Anti-Frizz Shampoo lathers sufficiently. It really cleanses the hair well. I would just use the shampoo some days and my hair still feels softer. A clear indication that this variant is all natural!

There is nothing like the Moringa-O2 Herbal Anti-Frizz Conditioner, you’ll feel it working from the moment you apply it. The creamy texture of the conditioner feels natural, no feel of silicone or synthetic materials at all. It applies well and a little goes a long way. The result is smoother, more manageable hair. My looks less "buhaghag".

TIP: Use the conditioner as an Herbal Hair Mask. Apply generously from scalp to tips, wrap in a hot towel and leave it on for an hour. Rinse well. You’ll notice your hair feels EXTRA extra softer for days to come.

For maintenance through out the day or for some extra care for seriously-damaged hair, apply 3 to 4 drops of the Herbal Hair Relaxing Revitalizing Serum to the hair strands.

It took quite a while for me to desensitize my hair from the usual mass-produced, heavily-endorsed hair care products. But when I switched to herbal hair care products, specifically Moringa-O2, my hair and scalp began to look healthier and less frizzier. Bottom line is, I thought I didn’t have a choice, not will all these ads bombarding me from left and right. I stuck to my guns to free my hair from synthetics and so far it’s been the best decision.

So make a switch and enjoy better hair care now, try the new Moringa-O2 Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner.
