Product Review | Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Shadow Pots (Photos, Swatches, Sample Looks)

After a year of waiting, I finally got my hands on the elusive MaybellineColor Tattoo 24hr (Php375 each) cream shadows. Yes, they are now available here in the Philippines! The uber pigmented, long-lasting fun Color Tattoos are here in the Philippines and they are here to stay!

I rarely come across a product that really does what it says. Cream shadows specifically. Some will promise you the moon and back only to see them running, creasing and gravitating to your lower lashline. There are only a handful of makeup that I've tried who lives up to its promise. I knew immediately that Color Tattoos will be one of them.

Like a kid in the candy store, I first stared and stared at these beauties before opening each up and took photos of them. After seeing them perform during the Maybelline Think Ink Calligraphy Workshop, I was impressed.

Our press kit came with suggested combinations of Color Tattooo with fun names. :) What's your favorite?

Color Tattoo comes in a glass jar containing 4 grams of products each.

These babies mean serious business. They are the longest-lasting cream shadows that I've tried. No kidding. These are gel liner-worthy material. Amazing pigmentation, blendability, and totally insane color choices. Maybelline Philippines have made the right choice of shades to bring in. If you've been wanting paint pots from higher end brands, I suggest don't get them. Rather, collect all the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream shadows and enjoy more color choices for those makeup look you want to last all day.

To give you an idea how well it performed, here's a scoring system:

Pigmentaition: 5 out of 5
Blendability: 5 out of 5
Lasting power: 5 out of 5
Color selection: 5 out of 5
Consistency: 5 out of 5
Affordability: 5 out of 5
TOTAL SCORE: 5

Think I'm too generous with giving these gems the highest score? But this is the real deal. This is how cream shadows are suppose to work! Cream shadows should be able to stand alone (oily lids or otherwise), could be used as a base for better shadow vibrancy and can act as a gel liner alternative.
