INGLOT HD Liptint Matte | Review and Swatches

I love matte lipsticks. Discovering them a few years back was life-changing! Now that they are in lip cream forms, they're more fanstastic than ever! They're fuss-free, easier to apply and they last all day. Not to mention that they are everywhere! INGLOT, Manila's top destination for pro and non-pro makeup needs, came out with a new HD Lip Tint Matte Lip creams and I was not able to resist them!

Review and swatches up ahead!

Here they are, all 20 shades in their glorious creamy-licious and satisfying matte finish that will suit every personality and every mood.

Inglot HD Liptint Matte | 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

Inglot HD Liptint Matte swatches
INGLOT HD Liptint Matte's (P1,150/5.5g) first seven shades of pinks, reds and nudes are definitely going to fly off the shelves fast. It was hard to choose which ones to try first but like everyone, we were drawn to 16 and 17. 16 is a pink-peach shade that is a tad muted in saturation. 17 on the other hand is a warm nude shade, very neutral.

Forget pre-ordering those Kylie lipkits, you'll wait forever, time to get yourself the shade Nos. 18 to 20 from the HD Liptint Matte. No. 18 has the deep brown shade that so on trend now. And that No. 20 is just calling out to strutted down a runway!

As expected, the creamy consistency is extremely pigmented and glides on smoothly on a well-buffed surface.  It dries into a uber matte finish and has an even coverage. It's transfer and smudge-proof and lasts a long time. One swipe is enough to cover my whole lips, though a second coat wouldn't hurt. The doe-foot sponge-tip applicator gives a nice even finish without saturating too much product.

To avoid dry patches, exfoliate your lips before applying. To remove, just apply a good coating of your favorite lip balm and tissue off with soft wipe or remove with a cleansing oil.

Here are some lip swatches for you.

Inglot HD Liptint Matte in No. 15
Red-pink or what I fondly call, strawberry pink shade, is my favorite lip color when it comes to matte. Though most days call for muted shades like nudes and pale pinks, it's popping shades like this that truly shows a person's character. The vibrancy livens up my mood and in constrast with my skintone, it looks as if my face is brighter and fairer. Even my eyes look smizing whenever I wear this color.

Inglot HD Liptint Matte in 16

A true pink but with a hint of peach that suits most Filipina skintones. I love the balanced level of rose in this shade that doesn't appear too overwhelming. Some may even consider this a MLBB shade (My-lips-but-better) that's great for everyday use. On a simple makeup look like what I did here, the color No. 16 just adds sophistication tying the whole look together. It's a an ultra-feminine shade for the woman who likes lip colors simple and classy.

Inglot HD Liptint Matte 17
Nude is always a good idea especially when they are flat and matte like No. 17. I'm so psyched about this shade that I picked it up immediately. Nudes that don't wash out the face is hard to come. The subtle nude that is No. 17 has the right amount of warmth to suit our skin tone. Inglot has us choose between this shade and No. 16 and we all went for this shade! That's how awesome this is!

It's 1,150 per tube! :) I've had mine since march and it's barely half the tube. :)
