No stopping at your prime with Nestle Boost Drink | #PossibilitiesWithBoost

Why is it that when people think of 50’s they think about you going to the province, retiring? The fifty-somethings I know are not doing any of that. Instead they’re having fun, traveling, and some of them are actually starting off businesses and have shown no signs of slowing down. Rather I find them busier than ever. With seemingly unstoppable energy at their disposal.

These people are actually who we call Baby Boomers.  The wealthiest generation in the world who have seemed to find the fountain of youth. They do everything, try anything and they are as fit as ever. And boy are they giving the millenials a run for their money! Who says we’re the only ones who are YOLO’ing?

Nestle Boost recently brought together a few of the country’s personalities and their children to show us how baby boomers and millennials are more alike than we think.

“I realized that age is never an excuse to stop yourself from trying new things,” shares Ramon Jacinto. “I see it in my kids and if I want to be youthful like them, all I need to do is believe that I can still do as much as they can!”

Ramon’s son, RJ Jacinto, agrees saying, “I notice that dad has been more daring. Ayaw magpatalo sa millennial!”

“There is so much to discover and experience. I’m slowly trying to accomplish more and more things in my bucket list!” shares Tessa Prieto-Valdes.

“It’s refreshing hitting new milestones at this age. And I think I can go on doing just that till I hit 70!” shares Quinito Henson

When asked about a surprising ‘first’ she saw her mother accomplish, Coco Quizon, daughter of Zsa Zsa Padilla shares, “I remember when my mom and I tried to learn how to drive together a few years ago. We pretty much quit soon after because we were hitting every curb!”

“I was usually so scared of driving; there’s so many different things to worry about,” Zsa Zsa adds, ”But then one day, I surprised her by picking her up for dinner.”

“I still don’t drive or have a license, so good job for her!” Coco says.

Looking at them and learning from them from the audience seats, I felt really good. I’m trying to be as fit and healthy as I can be. I’m inspired by  Quinito Henson who manages to walk at least 40,000 steps a day. He puts mg 5K steps to shame! Hahaha! I’m also in awe of Tessa Prieto-Valdez who seem to never age. I’ve been seeing her in the beauty and fashion seen for years and she looks the same. More Christine Jacob and Zsa-zsa Padilla who to be honest looks a lot better now more than they did in the 80’s and the 90’s.

It quite fun to see them doing well as their children.

But what surprised us more is the Regional Head for Nestle Science, Paul Brauhn, who could probably be in a James Bond film! We were surprised that he’s in his 50's. It truly is a testament that living a good healthy life shows in every aspect. And that’s exactly why they are launching the Nestle Boost Drink here in the Philippines. To give men and women in their prime an option to have a better nutrional lifestyle. It’s uniaginable that the older we get, the less nutrition we get. Think of Boost as exactly that, a extra supplement to give us the nutrients our body needs.

I truly believe that our body changes as we meet certain milestones in our lives and it’s important to recgonize the needs of each chapter in our lives. I’m in my 30’s now and I’m doing a lot of different things for body and change really needs to happen if I want to utilize my body and keep it at it’s best til I reach my 60’s, 70’s and God-willing 80’s and 90’s. There is no shame in taking supplements especially when it comes in a delicious pack of Boost nutritional drinks. It is very reassuring that a 1 or 2 daily intake of this drink with a practice of fit lifestyle and balanced diet, I am giving my body the best it could.

I’m not even waiting til my 50’s. I plan to drink Boost now.. even just for every once in awhile. I got a chance to taste it during the launch and it’s delicious. I can even incorporate it in some of my dishes.

And what’s great, it’s Gluten-Free!
